SPRING MOUNTAIN RESERVE RIDE

LEAVING FROM: 145-153 Backwater Road Greenbank (Fiona’s house) And 148-156 Backwater Road Greenbank (houses are opposite each other)

PARKING: In front of our houses 

SIGN IN TIME: 8:00 (to beat the heat)

RIDE OUT TIME: 8:30

Approx 4.5 hours (19.5 km)

Morning tea on the ride. Lunch back at floats

Bring halter/lead rope

Plenty of water 

1 Dam on the ride for horse water

Come join in on a wonderful ride through Spring Mountain Reserve. There are moderate hills, step overs, shady tracks, beautiful dam, lovely nature, road crossings and reasonably quiet road riding.  The tracks have recently been upgraded however there’s some rocky section so its recommended horses should be shod, have boots or seasoned barefoot. 

**Please note: we are riding behind people’s property so there will be barking dogs in yards.

**Moderate fitness/ 1 dam for horse water.

*** This is an ATHRA Ride. Not a member – Day Membership is available via the ATHRA website.  Remember to bring your receipt for proof of payment.

***Also bring a completed Horse Movement Form as we require to keep records.
