RIDE
NOTICE – Sawpit Ride / Camp Saturday 22nd and
Sunday 23rd of March
Saturdays Ride starts
at the Corner of Mt Clay and Kerrabrae Road Narrawong. (approximately 1km off
the highway)
Saturday muster
will be at 12pm riding out 12:15pm
The
ride will be approximately 2 hours in duration, roughly 16km.
Set
up camp at Sawpit Campground after the ride.
Sunday muster will be at
9:30am riding out by 9:45am
Sunday’s ride from Sawpit campground will be for around 1.5
hours.
The tracks are sandy bush tracks with some patches of gravel,
there’s one steep section on Saturdays ride to navigate. All riders must be
confident enough to walk, trot and canter in a group.
General:
PLEASE BRING THE
FOLLOWING –
A salad or sweet to share plus, your
meat for tea Saturday night.
Horse
water and some wood for the fire.
Horse yards need to be made within the
camp area. There are no rubbish bins so please take all your rubbish home with
you. Clean up your area by removing hay, feed, and manure.
You will need secure horse yards and
all other camp gear, food etc.
There are drop toilets at the
campground.
