Come and Try Ride

Let’s get together for our first ride of 2026 the year of the
horse.

Welcome
to our first ride of the year through the beautiful Imbil forestry. 

We have made
this ride a “come and try day” so people can come for a ride with us
and see what we are all about.

An ATHRA Trial membership must be purchased online if you are not a current ATHRA financial member.

The majority or our rides for the rest of the year will be for
ATHRA members only. 

Ride 12 km approx 2-3 hrs with breaks

Pre talk 8am Ride out 8:30am sharp

The terrain is quite rocky, so shoes or boots are highly
recommended for your horse. 

The ride itself is 11.3km not
to hilly and under the cover of trees mostly but there are a few kms in the
open sun so sun protection is recommended.

There
are few opportunities for your horse to have a drink, and we will have a break
for morning tea at a creek.

 Please
be aware there will be some road riding (fairly quiet road) and possibility of
motorbikes within the forestry.

Stirling’s Crossing Equestrian Complex Derrier Rd, Imbil

Enter
at the 2nd gate you will see an open space to park

Our
Club will provide a sausage sizzle for lunch.

Everything else is BYO for you and your horse and leave the place
as you found it.

$5 Ride fee paid to our club account
