ATHRA will be conducting a Trail Boss/Ride Coordinator/Ride Steward Accreditation workshop for current ATHRA
members aged 18 years and over at –

You may arrive Friday Night , Camping is available . There are showers , Toilets and camp Kitchen . Drinking water. Yards available. Lunch and Morning /afternoon tea supplied . BYO dinner Saturday or Pub dinner.

ACCREDITATION WEEKEND AT COOROY – HOSTED BY THE SUNNY COAST TRAIL RIDERS CLUB 

GENERAL INFORMATION

·       
Location
– Cooroy Horse and Pony Club, 17 Mary River Road, Cooroy QLD 4563. 

·       
You
may arrive on Friday afternoon, however, you will need to be self-sufficient.

·       
There
are toilets and access to a camp kitchen.

·       
BYO
horse food and horse buckets. There are no yards available, you must BYO
portable electric fencing

·       
A
simple lunch and morning/afternoon tea will be provided both Saturday and
Sunday.

·       
BYO
breakfasts and dinner for Saturday night, or you can join in a trip to the
Cooroy RSL

·       
Nearest
meal providers are Cooroy RSL or numerous Cafes and Restaurants in Cooroy
Village.

·       
Accommodation
– Cooroy Hotel or Cooroy Luxury Apartments

DON’T FORGET TO BRING WITH YOU

Your
horse! (Trail Boss and ride Steward Applicants only, those applying for Ride
Coordinator do not have to take part in the practical sessions on horseback)

sense of humor – whilst we are learning, we are also having fun

PRIOR TO THE COURSE

·       
You must complete the specific ATHRA
on-line training prior to attending, you will be provided with the link direct
from ATHRA once we receive your registration details from the hosting
club.

We
strongly recommend you download and spend time reading the ATHRA Code of
Conduct – Available from the ATHRA Website prior to the course.
