Based at Tambo Upper between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. Bring your horse along and enjoy one of our monthly trail rides. We ride on the third Sunday of every month. A friendly and sociable club which caters for all standards of riders and horses. Club rides are started from various locations. They are held on the third Sunday of every month, riding out at 10am and finishing with a cuppa back at the floats. Overnight rides are also featured, details can be found on the Club Calendar in the “documents” section.
Most rides are at a walking pace but can include a controlled trot or canter at the discretion of the Lead Rider. There may be some steep or rocky areas, but nothing beyond the abilities of average riders. New riders are always welcome and are given special attention and consideration by club members. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult and need to be able to ride independently.
Tambo Upper Trail Riding Club was established in the early 1980’s.
