The Southern Yorke Peninsula Pony Club holds a rich history deeply rooted in the equestrian culture of the region. Over the years, the club has served as a vital hub for riders and horse enthusiasts, fostering a sense of community and sportsmanship.
From its early days of informal gatherings to its evolution into a structured organization, the Southern Yorke Peninsula Pony Club has played a pivotal role in promoting horse riding skills, camaraderie, and equine education. The club’s legacy is marked by numerous events, competitions, and the shared passion for horsemanship that has been passed down through generations, contributing to the vibrant equestrian heritage of the Southern Yorke Peninsula.
In 2023 the club made the name change to SYP Riding Club and affiliated with ATHRA to better support the riding pursuits and interests of its members.
