Smythesdale and District hold a trail ride each month, primarily on the 2nd weekend of the month, however this may vary depending on other activities and availability. We ride at various locations across Southwest Victoria, ranging mainly from the Otway’s to the Ballarat District and all area’s in-between. Our rides vary between day rides and overnight camping weekends.
Whilst we welcome new members, they must be able to demonstrate competence & control of their horse in walk, trot, and canter, in a group environment. To ensure members are a good fit for our club, and our club is a good fit for any new members, we have a 2-ride grace period, if it’s not the right fit for either party, the club will refund the club membership fee. (not the ATHRA fee)
All riders are expected to abide by the club’s rules, ATHRA’s code of Conduct and the instruction of ride officials
