Saturday Horse Activities and Trail Riders (SHAATRI) is a small club that holds trail rides and harness drives around the Central Qld area from The Caves, Bangalee Beach, Glenlee, Alton Downs and Rockhampton areas.
We regularly hold trail rides and drives for ridden and harness with the requirement that all riders and drivers must be able to trot safely in a group. We are a friendly versatile club and we welcome you to come and learn more.
Trail Rides commenced in December 2006 for experienced riders and education days commenced in May 2008 for learners, inexperienced and non-confident riders and regular sporting events.
We sadly lost our founder Joan Hart who passed away May 2019. Joans Memorial River Ride is held at The Caves in July school holidays each year in recognition of her contribution to our club and trail riding.
