Murray Darling Trail Horse Riders Club is a group of like minded people who enjoy riding the bush trails and along the Murray and Darling Rivers. We enjoy the occasional campout and are in the process of arrange some training/educational trail rides to help members and visitors improve or polish up on their skills. We endeavour to ride every second Sunday of the month, enabling those members who follow a discipline (western, eventing, dressage, etc.) to attend their individual rally days and still be able to relax on the trail. Typically, we will hold two rides a month ranging from 15K (lunch back at floats) to 40+ kilometres (lunch on the run or if we are lucky a prearranged BBQ), with the odd night ride. Weather permitting there is even the opportunity to ride and swim in the warm months.
The group welcomes new members and anyone interested can ride as a guest for two rides prior to joining.
Please provide a history of your club such as the date or year it was formed and anything of interest as to why it was formed or by whom.
