Bouldercombe Trail Horse Riding Club is located about 20 minutes southwest of Rockhampton. The club holds regular day rides and weekend rides and campouts. In 2002 the club celebrated 25 years in progress.
The club is privileged to be associated with the Bouldercombe Sports and Recreation Trust, where we have been given the perpetual use of five acres of land.
On these grounds in 1993 volunteers erected a 20 x 30 shed which is used to store equipment. The five acres is fully fenced and has a concrete wash bay, round yard and several horse yards.
The Bouldercombe Trail Riders Club held its first official recorded meeting in September 1977. The club participated in the National Mail Ride in 1978 riding along 100km of the track from the crossing of the Fitzroy River near Yaamba to a small settlement on the southern side of Mount Morgan.
