TRIP PLANS: It is proposed that on Saturday the 18th May, members will travel in convoy to the Toongabbie Pony Club Grounds for an overnight stay, cost $15 per person. An easy ride will be conducted there, followed by a pub dinner. Travel time is estimated at 4 hours. On Sunday we will travel to Weber Park at Eden, (estimated travel time 5 hours), where we will camp for the week. Members will need to take some food & drink supplies, but shops are handy in Eden. Obviously take all your horse feed and other needs. Toilet and shower facilities are available, as well as a clubhouse with hot water, microwave, BBQ and oven. Tables and chairs are also within the clubhouse. Horse yards, you will need to bring along your own electric yards which can be erected behind your camp. We will have the choice of dining at local pubs/eateries etc., or to remain at the grounds for BBQ of other style dining of an evening. No dogs permitted on this camp.

Rides will include a special “full moon” night ride, beach rides to coffee shops and cafes, beautiful scenery, a totally different riding experience to our local rides. Details of each day’s riding will be announced on the previous evening. Members of the Sapphire Coast Club, led by Tony Hart, will hopefully be joining us each day.

The return trip to Ballarat may involve an overnight stay at Toongabbie, again at a cost of $15 per person. There is an option to drive straight through, but this will be decided by consensus of members on the trip.
