Boomerang Ranch Weekend Ride, Sat 30th & Sun 31st August 2014
This weekend is only available to Financial RCTHRC members & Familys.Due to the lack of parking space Goosenecks will NOT be allowed on this camp.
As most will be arriving on the Friday, rooms will be allocated upon arrival.Please Note, there will be basic bedding supplied with each bed, you can bring extra if you wish, you will also need to bring your own towel.
The Saturday ride will head into the Wombat Forest, stopping at the Old Hepburn Hotel for lunch, returning to Boomerang Ranch around 3pm, depending on length of stay at the Pub.**We will need to know how many non-riders will be joining us for lunch at the pub on Saturday’s ride.**
Sundays ride will also be in the Wombat Forest, riding on both days will be on sandy / gravel roads and tracks with terrain being flat to undulating and there may be the odd hill & water crossing. Anticipated return to Boomerang Ranch will be around 12 noon to 1-00pm where we will enjoy a club supplied Sausage Sizzle, tea and coffee will also be available.Horse Paddocks,
Option 1. Communal paddock.
Option 2. Paddock for your Hot Yards (to be kept to a moderate size)There are no trees available for night lines.
· Horses are to be reasonably fit, with feet adequately conditioned and / or shod.· No Stallions.
· Breastplates and Cruppers are recommended.· Horses known to kick must wear a red ribbon in their tail.
· Under 18’s must wear an approved riding helmet.· Riders under 16 must be under adult supervision and have a signed approval.
· RCTHRC recommends that all riders have Ambulance cover.· Dogs are not permitted on this camp/ ride.
· All riders must adhere to the RCTHRC rules which incorporate the ATHRA Code of Conduct.
· All riders must advise the Ride Leader of any medical condition prior to the commencement of the ride.Ride out time 10:00am.

Boomerang Ranch Cost:
$25 per person per night,and $15 for children under 15 per night.We need to know if you are staying Friday/Saturday Night or just Saturday Night.
