Arrive FHRC Grounds, Forrest Rec Reserve, Yaugher Road,Forrest by 9.30a.m. for 10a.m. ride-out. Approx 4 kms roadside riding, then off-road across beautiful farm river flats, then up sandy ridge - some steep inclines - through King Creek 2 Track. Then we head down off the ridge along shady Goat Track to our ferny picnic spot for 1 hour lunch break:BYO food & drink. Return home via King Creek 3 Track, across the river flats, and back onto Kents Road to FHRC grounds. Ride lenth: approx 25 kms. Ride time: approx 5-6 hours including lunch break. Slow -medium paced ride due to hill climbs, this ride is very suitable for barefoot horses. FHRC annual AGM has been postponed until after Dec 31st. New AGM date T.B.A.
