The restructure transition is now well under way and on track to commence at the start of the 2011 operating year.
So where are we at and what needs to be done? Most
states are conducting “Special General Meetings” to either wind up
their state entity or to approve the transfer of their funds to the new
ATHRA organisation.
ATHRA’s new constitution is in its final stages of review and will be
syndicated to all branch executives by the end of August. (You are
encouraged to obtain a copy for your information).

GLENMAURIE 2010 - acknowledged as the only "Must attend Horse Holiday Event for September 2010"

ATHRA representative attends EADRA Meeting in Sydney (Emergency Animal Disease Response Agreement). Federal and State government ministers have set a deadline of 1st December to have a signed EADRA in place in order for the government to respond to any future emergency disease outbreak.
ATHRA, represented by De'hanne Keir (National Treasurer), attended the all day meeting. Following the canvassing of opinion from all ATHRA State Executives, the organisation supported the levy applicable to "Hard Feed" should another disease outbreak occur. Click here for meeting notes taken ...
